| - Dear Costumer,
-
- Welcome to our Equitation Program! We are pleased to introduce Natalie Wright, a 5-time World Grand Champion Equitation rider, as instructor for both Saddleseat and Stockseat (Western) Equitation lessons. Our approach is to implement a full program that includes formal riding instruction, tests, and dress, keeping in mind that we have combined the very best techniques of many trainers to allow you the best instruction for your dollar.
- In this packet you will find a summary of each program and a price breakdown for that program. Lessons for beginner through advanced riders are offered but to ensure that all students possess the qualifications to be successful in the show ring, students are required to complete the Intermediate course before venturing into the advanced ranks.
- If you are unsure that you are ready to commit to take a full program of lessons, individual 30-minute lessons can be scheduled for $45 per lesson.
-
- Reliable lesson horses will be provided for all levels of riding but we recommend you bring your own mount provided they prove suitable for the program. Natalie will assist in assessing the horse of anyone interested in using his or her own mount. Please note, all horses brought to the farm must show a negative coggins and proof of health papers before being unloaded. Boarding is available.
-
- Saddles and stirrups will also be available for riders to use during lessons. If a rider wishes to use their own saddle and stirrups due to a physical trait or any other reason, they are welcome to do so as long as the saddle safely fits the horse used in their lesson and allows the rider to sit in the proper equitation position. It is suggested that all riders purchase their own stirrup irons and leathers to use during lessons. This will eliminate time wasted making adjustments and ensure proper fit at all times. Other special equipment will be made available to the rider as needed.
-
- Included in this packet, you will find a price sheet for miscellaneous services that will be available for all students. Please note that services are not limited to those listed and the price for any additional service will be determined on an individual basis.
-
- Thank you for your interest in the art of Equitation. We are thrilled to include you into our farm family and look forward to working with you!
-
- Sincerely,
-
- Natalie Wright and Kerry Wehmeyer
