Natalie Wright

Natalie Wright has been riding horses all of her life but wasn’t introduced to mountain horses until the age of 13. She has made her mark on the Mountain Horse Community by becoming the youngest person in history to win not one, but two Open World Grand Championships. However, aside from her show ring success, her passion lies in the art of Equitation. Natalie has proudly displayed her skills throughout the last four years by winning all but two of the classes she entered. Her accomplishments also include being the first recipient of the Wilda Derickson Equitation Challenge Trophy. This award went to the person who won the UMH Equitation World Grand Championship for three consecutive years. Natalie also had a continuous run in the Kentucky Mountain circuit by winning the International Grand Championship for two years in a row; the second win was aboard a catch ride and included rigorous work at the canter.

Natalie is thrilled to have the opportunity to pass her expertise along and is looking forward to working with everyone who shares her passion for Equitation.
